8xbet Football Markets Explained: 1X2, Double Chance, BTTS and Over/Under

8xbet Football Markets Explained: 1X2, Double Chance, BTTS and Over/Under

A football fixture can carry dozens of markets, but each one asks a different question. Do you expect the home team to win? Will both teams score? How many goals will the match produce? Your answer determines the market and selection you need.

This page deals with four markets you will see regularly on 8xbet: 1X2, Double Chance, Both Teams to Score and Over/Under. The score examples use Blue FC and Gold FC, so the explanation stays clear without turning into a match prediction.

How a Football Market Works on 8xbet

How a Football Market Works on 8xbet

Three details make up the bet. The fixture tells you the match, the market tells you what you are predicting, and the selection records your answer. For Blue FC vs Gold FC, you might open the 1X2 market and choose 1. That selection means Blue FC, the home team, must win.

Now change the market to Double Chance and choose 1X. Blue FC still appears in the bet, but a draw will also give you a winning outcome. This is why you need to read the market name, not just the club name, when using 8xbet sports betting.

What 1, X and 2 Mean

The 1X2 market covers the three possible match results. Pick 1 for a home win, X for a draw or 2 for an away win. In Blue FC vs Gold FC, 2–1 makes selection 1 a winner. A 1–1 score favours X, while 0–2 favours selection 2.

Pay attention to the settlement period. A full-time 1X2 market normally uses the score after regular time, not the result after extra time or penalties. If officials abandon the match or move it to another date, the applicable rules decide what happens to the bet. Read our void and cancelled bet rules for those situations.

How Double Chance Works

Double Chance puts two 1X2 outcomes into one selection. Choose 1X when you want the home win and draw covered. X2 covers the draw and away win. The 12 option covers a win for either team, which means the draw makes it lose.

Suppose Blue FC and Gold FC finish 1–1. Both 1X and X2 win because each contains the draw. The 12-selection loses. Double Chance gives you two possible results, but that does not make the bet certain.

BTTS Yes and No

Both Teams to Score ignores the match winner and looks only at whether each side scores. BTTS Yes wins at 1–1, 2–1 or 1–3. BTTS No wins at 1–0, 0–2 or 0–0 because at least one team ends the match without a goal. Do not confuse BTTS with a goals total. A 4–0 result has four goals but loses BTTS Yes because only one team scored. A 1–1 draw has fewer goals and still wins BTTS Yes.

Over and Under Goal Markets

Over/Under uses the total goals from both teams. The club that scores them does not matter. Half-goal lines also leave no room for a tie:

  • Over 1.5 needs at least two goals; Under 1.5 allows no more than one.
  • Over 2.5 needs at least three goals; Under 2.5 allows two or fewer.
  • Over 3.5 needs at least four goals; Under 3.5 allows three or fewer.

If Blue FC beat Gold FC 2–1, the match contains three goals. Over 1.5 and Over 2.5 win. Over 3.5 loses. The same decisions apply if Gold FC wins 3–0 because the calculation uses the total, not the winner.

Comparing the Four Markets

Comparing the Four Markets

The table shows how the markets treat the same match. None ranks as the best option on its own; the right one depends on the outcome you actually want to back.

Adding the Selection to Your Bet Slip

Open the fixture, locate the market and tap the outcome you want. When the selection enters the slip, compare it with the match page. You should see the same fixture, market and selection in both places.

That final check matters. Gold FC under 1X2 means an away win, while Gold FC or Draw under Double Chance gives you X2. The two bets mention the same club but do not need the same result. The 8xbet bet slip guide explains what to check before you enter a stake or combine several selections.

Mistakes That Change the Bet

  • Selection 2 means the away team, not simply the second club you noticed on the page.
  • The 12 option excludes a draw. Choose 1X or X2 if you want the draw covered.
  • BTTS Yes and Over 2.5 do not mean the same thing. A 3–0 score proves the difference.
  • Over 2.5 needs three total goals; two goals will not win it.
  • Extra time and penalties only count when the market terms say they count.

Read the Market Before You Confirm

The fixture tells you where the bet belongs, but the market and selection decide what must happen. Read those details together with the settlement period. Seeing the correct team name on the slip is not enough if the market says something different from what you intended.
